It's time to tell you all about... my adventure!

I teased a NEW ADVENTURE I'm embarking on previously, and now it's time to tell you more about it!

I attended an education conference last November where I learned about all sorts of things that I plan on implementing and using in the coming months/years. There was one platform in particular that fell in perfect line with my goals as an author.

So let me introduce you to Ream.

Ream is a subscription platform by authors for authors. We combine the best of an eReader app, a reader group, and a mailing list all into one easy-to-use platform that helps authors create a thriving membership for their readers.

(From the Ream website: https://reamstories.com)

As you know, I had a Patreon for those who wished to read my story Courting Fae Thieves and Crownsbut couldn't (or didn't want to) access it on Kindle Vella. The unfortunate thing about Patreon was that it was often difficult to navigate posts and for readers to find the new episodes. Especially if they got behind by a few.

Ream is different. Accessing books and stories is much easier.

So Why Ream?

The Why

Writing can be a lonely endeavor. That changes now! When I delved into crafting my first serialized story, the joy of connecting with readers as they engaged with each episode was a revelation. I also saw the value of incorporating feedback from my readers to enhance my stories. It’s made me a better writer. It was then that I decided this interactive approach is the essence of how I want to create stories moving forward.

I want you, my cherished fans, to be involved in every step of this creative journey.

The essence of my paid subscriptions and memberships is rooted in serving YOU, my fans. In an industry that often prioritizes the allure of the new—new books, new readers, new opportunities—I aim to carve out a space where you, my existing readers, take precedence, as you are the foundation that allows me to pursue my passion.

This space is more than a subscription—it's a haven for direct connection. Together, we can collaboratively shape the future of this community. It's a shared journey where your input and presence are pivotal.

Join me, and let's craft stories and memories together!

I'll share more with you in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, please visit my Ream page and follow! I posted a New Years Resolution post yesterday that I would love to hear your answers and comments on!

It's free to follow on Ream, but for everyone who joins one of the paid tiers by January 31, 2024, I'll send you exclusive bookish mail!

I hope to see you there!!

Year End Reflection...

I hope your holidays have been lovely! I've been taking some time off--meaning, I edited the rest of Stealing Fae Hearts and Secrets yesterday to send it off to my editor. No, but really, my husband has the week off and we're spending time with the kids and extended family.

With the end of 2023 in just a few days, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on this past year.

  • Courting Fae Thieves and Crowns released in January. I've been so pleased with the reception of this book! As you know, and as I have said over and over, I love this story so much! It's warmed my heart to hear comments from readers expressing how much they love it too!

  • Becoming a Fae Queen finally released earlier this month. The Raven Court series is complete! I've been so immersed in Fae Thieves and Crowns, I struggled to finish this story. But I wanted to make it great and re-wrote it several times (at least three, I think). I am SO happy with how it turned out. It's exactly what it needed to be to end this series.

The past two years--2022 and 2023--have looked very different than my first three years of publishing. I haven't published as many books, but they've been years of learning and growth. I'm so excited to see what 2024 brings!

Come with me on an adventure...

I absolutely love interacting with readers. I love hearing your feedback and what you’re currently reading and talking about all things books (that, to be honest, some people in our lives just don’t understand. Amiright? 😂)

As authors, we’re constantly trying to figure out and fight the algorithms of Amazon and Instagram and Facebook, even emailing is tricky etc, etc, etc just to be seen and heard by readers. It’s exhausting. I just want to write stories and talk and connect about stories! But I’ve found a BETTER WAY!

And I’m SO EXCITED.

I've been working behind the scenes on something and it's finally time that I begin telling you about it.

💜 If you come with me on this adventure… you’ll have early access to my books and stories as I write them. You’ll be able to comment on parts that you love and others will be able to engage with you–to get excited together or commiserate with. (and of course, I’ll be there)

💜 If you come with me on this adventure… you’ll get sneak peeks of character art and covers. You’ll probably even get a say in book titles and other things. 😉

💜 If you come with me on this adventure… you’ll have access to my backlist. And I we’ll have events where we read my books together and I’ll annotate as we go to give insights into certain scenes, characters, etc.

💜 If you come with me on this adventure… you’ll occasionally get bookish mail. And an annual bookbox (which will increase in frequency as the platform grows)

I know we're right in the chaos of the holidays, so I'll tell you more about it in a couple of weeks, but if you're curious and want to begin “following” my adventure, check out this link :

It's FREE to follow.

My Books are Leaving Kindle Unlimited

I have some exciting things planned! But in order to do that, my books can no longer be in Kindle Unlimited.

Currently, only my Faerie books are in Kindle Unlimited (Raven Court series and Courting Fae Thieves and Crowns), but they will be pulled out within the next month or two. So if they've been on your KU TBR, make sure to have them as one of your “borrowed” books because you won't have access to them in that program.

Release Day!

After two long years since the release of Evading a Fae Queen (book 3), Becoming a Fae Queen is live!

The Raven Court series is COMPLETE!

You can get it here: Becoming a Fae Queen

Everything I knew was a lie.
But I must embrace my destiny.

The winter queen’s reveal has left me reeling, connecting the dots of my missing memories, my startling resemblance to Queen Carys, and my inexplicable bond with the deadly water horses. Yet, as fate would have it, I find myself once again barred from Faerie, this time with… Carys. While her struggles in the human realm provide a twisted amusement, I must return to Faerie.

There are questions that demand answers: Is Sterling still held captive by the winter queen? Does Tien, the fae I love, still draw breath? And can I find a way to save a dying Faerie, teetering on the edge of oblivion?

The stakes have never been higher. The fate of an entire realm rests in my hands, but the journey is fraught with frustrations, startling twists, and unexpected alliances.
